Like many of my clients, Adam Barruch came to me asking to create a stunning visual that would attract funders and presenters. We were really creatively charged for this project, and we decided to go beyond the scope of my typical dance shoots. We took some time in Joyce SoHo without an audience or any other distractions, and I set up two video cameras. We ran the piece 3 or 4 times to capture different angles. The result is on the verge of a dance film rather than mere performance documentation. We were super pleased with the results, and I’d love to work on a similar project with more of my clients in the future.
