If you’ve been following my blog, you know I’ve been filming American Dance Machine‘s newest projects (see “Simply Irresistible” & “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes“). So far, I’ve shown behind-the-scenes videos of the dancers and directors of each work, so I thought I’d share scenes from one of their showings at the Alvin Ailey Studios in May.
“Mr. Monotony,” with music & lyrics by Irving Berlin, was originally choreographed by Jerome Robbins for the Broadway show Miss Liberty in 1949.
