Starting From A Collaborative and Creative Place

When we think about what we do as a video team, we categorize the work in 4 stages:
1. Creative Development
2. Pre-Production
3. Production
4. Post-Production
But when dancers think about their video needs, they often skip right to Step 2.
There are SO MANY options for video now. Livestream, pre-produced virtual events, hybrid options for in-person and online audiences, on-demand, limited or lifetime access… It’s enough choice to make you spiral.
More than ever, we’re seeing new audience demands, and we know the field is starting to seriously consider how video can create greater accessibility and equity in sharing the work. That makes Step 1 all the more crucial!
Letting us in on creative development means letting our team join your company in the discussion of your main goals for your video.
We can accomplish so much together if we start the planning process from a collaborative and creative place, designing the storytelling arc of your video to capture every emotion and idea you want to convey and building a plan to produce it in the best way for you and for your audience.
It’s pretty simple: Our most successful events happen when we know YOUR goals.
Are you striving for accessibility? Equity? Volume of content? Number of viewers? Letting us know these things will help us help YOU achieve them!
And even when you don’t know exactly what you want, we can help you figure it out.
My husband Christopher keeps reminding me: “We know dance.”
NSP is going to come to your creative development conversation with some ideas of what your goals may be! So, even when you’re having trouble articulating your goals, we can figure them out together. We know what video can do!!
Talk to us early and often about your upcoming video needs. Let us in on the brainstorm. We love sharing our ideas and finding the best path forward!
With gratitude,
