Happy New Year!!

For me, 2016 is starting off with a beautiful and moving story, gorgeous dancing, and total inspiration while I work on the beginnings of a new documentary film.

I’m currently in Seattle, filming No Dominion, co-directed by Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Margaret Mullin. The film celebrates the remarkable life and career of the late Ian (Ernie) Horvath – a dancer, choreographer, director, and champion for the art of dance who lost a battle with AIDS at age 46 in 1990.

Right now, we’re re-staging and filming some of his gorgeous, moving dances. See just a tiny snippet of me filming, captured by my husband Christopher, above.

I am feeling so fulfilled already. Just brimming with love for dance and the dance world. What a great way to start the new year!!
