The Dance Education Laboratory is a very special place. Bringing some of the most talented dancers and choreographers to work with artists of all ages together at the 92nd Street Y, the program focuses on improving dance curricula and teaching methods. It’s a great space for experimentation, learning and growing.

I was honored when we were asked to film Dance Education Laboratory’s two-day dance workshop with Doug Varone and Randi Sloan.

We thought it would be fun to create a short promotional video giving people a sneak peek into the workshop. We were all happy with the outcome – so happy that we did another one in January with Heather Watts and Tina Curran, along with special guests Damian Woetzel and Deborah Wingert. Founder Jody Gottfried Arnhold and her team don’t mess around. They bring the best!

It was a pleasure for my team to take part! Filmed by Ben Richards & edited by Loren Robertson.
