We love working with Faye Driscoll | ‘Weathering’ at Jacob’s Pillow and New York Live Arts
I have been filming Faye Driscoll’s work for many years now, I feel very connected to Faye’s work and enjoy the challenge of filming. Our team has worked with her in New York and at Jacob’s Pillow.
I filmed Faye’s work Thank You For Coming: Play in the beloved Doris Duke Theatre at the Pillow in 2018. It was so beautiful, and one of my favorite filming experiences to date.
Thank You For Coming: Play was recorded at Jacob’s Pillow in 2018 with choreography by
Faye Driscoll in collaboration with performers (2016).
Recently, we created a film for the Inside the Pillow Lab series for Faye depicting her creative process in residency at Jacob’s Pillow.
These short films capture what artists create in their intensive Pillow Lab residencies, which support artists during crucial development, research, and technical stages of choreography-driven projects.
We also created a few short promotional teaser videos for the piece, which makes its premiere in April at New York Live Arts.
All of us on the NSP team are truly moved by Faye’s work, so it has been a real pleasure to work on these projects.
Many of our clients at NSP are returning artists who we’ve worked with in the past. It is so special to us that we are able to build these relationships with artists over years of working together.
We get to watch them succeed, evolve, and create, and it’s so inspiring to all of us!!!

Nel is Video Producer at Jacob’s Pillow and Vail Dance Festival and is also the proud Director and Producer of PS DANCE! — a New York Emmy-nominated documentary about dance education in NYC’s public schools.
