My awesome husband has a year-long photographic exhibition at the National Museum of Dance, and we just celebrated the opening last night.
Christopher Duggan at Inside/Out: In Celebration of Jacob’s Pillow’s 80th Season looks amazing, and I hope you can find time to visit this year. Christopher and I were both excited that the museum asked to showcase his photographs of Inside/Out at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. He takes beautiful dance photos in New York City and in the Pillow’s theaters, but Inside/Out has always held a special place in our hearts. Each year we look forward to the many performances on the festival’s outdoor stage where I film the companies and he captures them in photos. The view is spectacular and the energy in the audience is always upbeat and uplifting. It’s really a magical experience.
Our daughter Gracie has become quite fond of the Inside/Out stage too, and often says, “I want to dance on that stage and my daddy will take my picture.”
I’m really happy for him, and you can tell he’s excited to share the joy, too. Listen to what he has to share about one of his favorite Inside/out photos in the video we made to accompany his exhibit.
Keep up with Christopher’s dance and wedding photography on his blog.
