The last week of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival’s 80th Anniversary Season was a whirlwind of fantastic performances. The season was such a success, and it concluded with the perfect mix of the new and the already beloved – The Joffrey Ballet brought a beautiful program with a world premiere and Doug Elkins and Friends’ Fräulein Maria ended its multi-year tour.
During this summer’s festival we filmed 20 shows, 50 Inside/Out performances, 20 talks, classes in the School at Jacob’s Pillow, artist interviews, and more.
The Pillow is a very special place, and everyone should visit during the festival, but now you can also enjoy the Pillow’s incredible archives on Dance Interactive all year long. Dance Interactive has dance videos ranging from Savion Glover to Bill Irwin to Suzanne Farrell.
I wanted to share a special performance from this year. It was my daughter Gracie’s first time watching a performance in the Doris Duke Theater, and she loved Circa so much, we had to hold on to her so she wouldn’t jump on the stage.
Enjoy and please share this treasure with others.
We’re thrilled to have this extra attention for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Interactive! We look forward to extra traffic from your posting, and thank you for highlighting the site.
