I have an amazing video team at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival this year! Grace Swihart from Pittsburgh, PA – 19 years old and currently going into her junior year at Ohio University. Karen Palafox from Mexico going into her junior year of college, too. And video apprentice, Gus Reed, a recent film graduate from Columbia University. Then of course Ben Richards who collaborates with us at our New York City studio is our Virtual Pillow Video Coordinator.

I am heavy into Pillow video training and getting the interns in the know about all that is going on. I keep saying I am setting them for success.
My interns are currently filming the making of Jessica Lang‘s new piece that she is creating on the ballet students at The School at Jacob’s Pillow to be performed at the Gala tomorrow. Gus is working on editing three different post-show talks from the past that we hope to be released soon, and I am so looking forward to filming Carmen De Lavallade at the Gala performance!!
