Nel Shelby Production’s Ashli Bickford filled in for me while I was in New York City earlier during opening week, focusing on my documentary, Where Women Don’t Dance, and she had such a blast as videographer. My Pillow team filmed The Hong Kong Ballet and it looks just gorgeous.

I jumped in at the end of the week and filmed As I Remember It, a program by Carmen de Lavallade. I loved every moment of filming this dance performance…I almost felt like I went into another world, time stopped and I was enthralled by Ms. de Lavallade’s life. Pretty excited that Meryl Streep was in the house watching, even though I did not spot her!!
