Live-Streaming Dance | Buglisi Dance Theatre’s Table Of Silence Project
Every September, my team and I film a project that is very close to my heart – Buglisi Dance Theatre’s Table of Silence Project.
The Table of Silence Project is a movement for peace conceived and choreographed by Jacqulyn Buglisi. The piece offers audiences a chance to reflect and remember 9/11 with a special outdoor performance at Lincoln Center in New York City.
The performance is a free, public tribute featuring hundreds of dancers.
It is touching and emotional and important.

My team and I always stream the Table of Silence Project on YouTube, and last year we simultaneously streamed the performance on Facebook Live.
We know social media, especially Facebook, has the ability to help dance companies reach much wider audiences with their videos. Reaching new viewers and expanding the shareability of this important project is important to all of us!!
It is a privilege to work with Buglisi Dance to capture this beautiful tribute on film and to share it with viewers all over the world. Since the inaugural tribute in 2011, the livestream has been viewed across all fifty states and in 102 countries.

The Table of Silence Project will be performed and streamed live September 11 at 8:15am.
If you are unable to join us in person at Lincoln Center, I hope you’ll join us from work or from home. You can come back here and tune in below, watch on Facebook Live or visit TableOfSilence.Org.

Hi Nel!
It’s Salena. I’m wanting to share this work with my students this semester and could not get the link to TableOfSilence.org to work. Also, I wonder if you could tell me what time the event will be streaming live?
Thanks so much!
Salena
