Michael Mao | New York Live Arts Promo Video

by | Apr 25, 2018 | Promotional Video

I’ve known Michael Mao for years. He’s etched in the dance scene.

He’s been choreographing for 45 years!!! We made this promo video for his upcoming show at New York Live Arts which is happening at the end of this month. Michael called me and said, “Let’s do something!” Of course I said YES.

This promo video gives a bite-size taste of what’s to come at New York Live Arts this weekend. Hope you can make it! If you can, come say hi. We are documenting the show Saturday. Enjoy!!!

“Michael Mao Dance celebrates alumni and present dancers from over 5 decades who have danced in Michael’s works, which have been presented at Dance Theater Workshop, Riverside Dance Festival, The Joyce Theater, Kaye Playhouse, Tribeca, Madison Square Garden, Hudson Guild, Secret Theater, Pepsico-Purchase, China Institute and Bryant Park, throughout the boroughs of New York, throughout Mainland US and Alaska, in Europe, in major in China and throughout Mexico for Festival Internaciónal Cervantino.”
