For the past few years, the interns at Jacob’s Pillow have participated in the #NationalDanceDay campaign from American Dance Movement.

It’s always a really fun video that shows the great energy and joy that flows through everything the interns bring to Jacob’s Pillow each summer.

This year we added in the community and popped over to film Third Thursday in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Many people that were watching the show ended up learning the National Dance Day dance, and it pretty much turned into a full-on dance party! I was dancing through them with my camera!!!

Everyday is #NationalDanceDay in my eyes. A celebration of dance as communication, connection, soul, fun, joy and the list goes on.
