Shantala Shivalingappa is one of the most captivating performers I’ve seen in my life.
I’ve watched her grow as an artist and performer since 2008. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her perform at Vail Dance Festival where she collaborated with other incredibly talented artists like Lil Buck, and I’ve filmed her performing at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.
This time was unlike the other times I was able to watch her perform. I felt like I was able to see her in a completely different light (literally)!!!
It was captivating to watch Shantala tell a story and keep us moving through the entire narrative. Her performance was meditative. She is a beautiful performer.
