As you know, I’ve been sharing short dance films that show behind-the-scenes footage of Wendy Whelan’s Restless Creature. The show has its world premiere this week at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.
I began this project with Wendy and Brian Brooks at the Vail International Dance Festival in 2012. I grew so close to the two of them from behind the camera and to continue this project and see it all the way through has been a dream. When Wendy and Brian dance together it looks so fluid.

It was a pleasure to be in the studio while Kyle was creating on Wendy…I have always loved Kyle’s work and I couldn’t wait to see what he created on Wendy, a ballet star with training and performance experience in a realm so far from his own movement style.
