Where Women Don’t Dance will be showing at Dance Place in Washington DC on April 30th and May 1st and Reston Center Stage in Virginia on May 4th!
When we showed a preview screening of the film at Links Hall in Chicago last April, the film followed an extremely powerful solo performance by Nejla called What Dreams May Come. Nejla and I loved the two works side by side. It just felt right. It felt emotional and beautiful and genuine to tell her story in these two ways in just one evening – so we’re really excited to show the film accompanied by live performance again this Spring. Please come to the theater if you live nearby and you can!!
