Workshops For Dance Educators | Dance Education Laboratory
Nel Shelby Productions has been filming workshops for dance educators with Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) for years.
Our relationship with DEL is really important to me, because it is a way for my video production company to continue to support dance education on top of all the work we do in dance performance.
The amazing workshops for dance educators DEL offers allows teachers to improve their craft and learn new techniques to reach their students. I love this – it is a part of my own personal mission to support dance education.
Jody Gottfried Arnhold, DEL’s founder and one of the biggest advocates for dance education out there, is so passionate about this work. It is infectious and so inspiring!
Jody came to me to create the documentary PS DANCE! about dance education in public schools in New York City. We have worked together to keep sharing about dance education through video. And we’ve had countless cups of tea discussing how much we want #DanceForEveryChild!!
I love sharing what we’re up to with DEL. Jody and I joke that our whole team of videographers are now qualified to teach dance because we’ve filmed so much of DEL’s curriculum!
